In 2006 (I think... my mind is a little fuzzy), I had the privilege to be part of the original cast of "Don't Quit Your Night Job"-­- an all Broadway Improv show. The show was created by Sarah Saltzberg, Steve Rosen, and David Rossmer. (PS - go see Steve and David in "The Other Josh Cohen" which starts previews Wed at the SoHo playhouse) all of them comedic gold. Now... it may seem like I'm milking my friends here, but I wouldn't post it if it wasn't true! Anyhow, I always had a fantasy of writing a sketch for the show involving David Hyde Pierce and Brian d'Arcy James. Why? Let me finish...

'Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja,' an action-packed, animated comedy series that follows the adventures of an unlikely hero who, with his super human ninja suit, the 'NinjaNomicon' (an 800 year-old Ninja guide) and the help of his best buddy Howard, finds himself as the one thing protecting his school and the world from certain destruction, is set to premiere on Disney XD TONIGHT, SEPTEMBER 17 (7:00 p.m., ET/PT). New episodes will premiere Monday through Thursday (7:00 p.m., ET/PT).

ANNIE Film Gets October 2 Blu-ray Release

The sun will come out October 2nd when Sony Pictures Home Entertainment celebrates the 30th Anniversary of the beloved musical classic ANNIE with itsBlu-ray™ debut. This charming motion picture was adapted from the smash Tony Award®-winning musical comedy based on the "Little Orphan Annie" comic strip about a young, red-haired orphan, Annie, and her dreams of a better life outside the orphanage walls. Filled with musical numbers that have become Broadway classics, such as "Tomorrow," "Easy Street," "It's the Hard-Knock Life," ANNIE features an ensemble cast: five-time Academy Award® nominated Albert Finney (Best Supporting Actor, Erin Brockovich, 2000) plays billionaire Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks; Emmy® and Golden Globe® winner Carol Burnett (TV's "The Carol Burnett Show") plays Miss Hannigan, the orphanage's cruel headmistress. ROCKY HORROR SHOW UK Tour to Launch in December from Theatre Royal Brighton

Since its first appearance at the Royal Court Theatre in June 1973, The Rocky Horror Show has been performed worldwide for nearly 40 years in over 20 countries and has been translated into more than 10 languages. To celebrate its 40th anniversary, a fresh new production is back for a year-long UK National adventure, heading to New Wimbledon Theatre from Mon 21 - Sat 26 January 2013.
