Crunch Presents Broadway Inspired 'SOUL OF SHAOLIN' Class

'Soul of Shaolin,' the new Chinese martial arts spectacular, and Crunch have partnered to present an exclusive fitness class based on the Broadway show. The class will offer Crunch members the chance to learn Shaolin Kung Fu techniques that are used in the upcoming production.
The class will be offered at the gym's 38th Street location (144 West 38th Street) starting tomorrow, January 9 at 5:30 PM. Classes will be offered every Friday through January 23.

Nederlander Worldwide Productions and The Eastern Shanghai Cultural Film and Television Group will partner to present the China on Broadway production of 'Soul of Shaolin,' a new Chinese martial arts spectacle, which will begin previews on Tuesday, January 13 and open Thursday, January 15 at Broadway's Marquis Theatre (1535 Broadway).

Broward County Commission's Broward Cultural council has chosen fifteen young professionals to participate in a new initiative-Emerging Cultural Leaders Program. An orientation ceremony to welcome the fifteen individuals to this brand new program will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2008, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Broward County Main Library, 6th Floor, Bienes Ceremonial Room, 100 South Andrews Ave. in Fort Lauderdale

Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, writers of the 2006 Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Jersey Boys, are the librettists for THE ADDAMS FAMILY, Drama Desk Award-winning composer/lyricist Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party) is writing the score, and Improbable Theater founders Phelim McDermott and Julian Crouch (Shockheaded Peter) will direct and design. EET plans to premiere THE ADDAMS FAMILY in the 2009-2010 Broadway season, preceded by an out-of-town tryout.
