LAKE WATER Set for IRT Theater, Begins 9/17

Neighborhood Productions has announced that the world premiere of Lake Water, written by Troy Deutsch and directed by Daniel Talbott, will begin performances on Saturday, September 17, at 8pm, at IRT Theater, 154 Christopher Street. Lake Water, which features Troy Deutsch and Samantha Soule in the cast, is scheduled to open Thursday, September 22, at 8pm.

The Flea Theater’s Hit #serials@theflea Returns for Cycle 3, Last Performance 8/20

This summer, the students in Site-Specific Directing at Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA) have staged theatre all over New York City: from Shakespeare in Central Park to Chekhov on the Staten Island Ferry. The directors concluded their class this week by fully producing five new short plays in and under the High Line Park in Manhattan.

Baruch PAC Presents A BLUE SKY LIKE NO OTHER, Opens 9/7

As the world commemorates the tenth year anniversary of 9/11, Baruch Performing Arts Center announces the world premiere of the theatrical production 'A Blue Sky Like No Other', one man's personal first-hand experience of the events that took place at the World Trade Center on the morning of September 11, 2001, opening on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 7pm, followed by a reception for the audience, running through Sunday, September 25, 2011 at 3pm & 7pm.

The Boomerang Theatre Company (Tim Errickson, Artistic Director; Sue Abbott, Managing Director) kicked off their 2011 season with an outdoor production of Shakespeare's Much Ado about Nothing, directed by Daniel Talbott and starring Sara Thigpen and Nate Miller.
