Balancin' Productions presents the world premiere of Follow by Crystal Skillman tonight, October 19 through November 3, 2012 at Fanfare Theatre (100 East 4th Street, between First and Second Ave.). Daniel Talbott (Eightythree Down, Hard Sparks; The Umbrella Plays, the teacup company/FringeNYC - Overall Excellence Award: Outstanding Play and at The Tank) directs.

The Concrete Jungle, an original work from American composer Bobby Cronin opened at the Studio Theatre of London's Arts Educational School on 8th June, 2012, and runs until the 16th June, 2012. The show follows the lives and loves of a group of young singletons who have just moved to New York City as they share stories in their local bar, 'The Concrete Jungle'.

On the heels of winning the Alec Baldwin Fellowship for his music & lyrics on 'TIL DEATH DO US PART and recording the International Studio Cast Recording of THE CONCRETE JUNGLE in association with Nick Lloyd Webber and James D. Reid in London, award winning composer/writer Bobby Cronin returns to the Broadway in Birdland Series presented by Jim Caruso with a night of all new material interpreted by some of today's top Broadway and West End performers.

THEATERSPEAK will present an installation of more than 70 award-winning and emerging playwrights writing new plays in the storefront window of the Drama Book Shop during store hours, August 13th - September 1st, In each two-hour time slot, a different playwright will write their play on a laptop, while the screen shot of their computer is visible to the street, opening their process up to the passerby on the street. HardSparks, a New York City-based theater company, presented the first in a series of site-specific performances of new plays to take place in Southampton. SparkHampton: The Wickapogue Plays featured work by Crystal Skillman (Cut, Wild), J.Stephen Brantley (Eightythree Down, Blood Grass), and Daniel Talbott (Slipping, Yosemite), who also directed the three pieces. Rising Phoenix Rep (Daniel Talbott, Artistic Director) will host an event to launch the newly published CINO NIGHTS: Plays from Rising Phoenix Rep, edited by Daniel Talbott and Addie Johnson and with a foreword by Todd London, on Thursday, June 28th at 6:00 p.m. at The Drama Book Shop
