THE LION KING Returns to Seattle December 13

Casting has been announced for the Seattle engagement of Disney's THE LION KING.    In addition, due to the overwhelming demand for tickets, a new performance has been added and will occur on Wednesday, January 2 at 1:00 p.m.

Casting has been announced for the Charlotte return of Disney's THE LION KING, which will leap onto the stage at Belk Theater from Wednesday, Aug. 22 through Sunday, Sept. 9, presented by Blumenthal Performing Arts.

Cast Announced for Orlando Engagement of THE LION KING

Casting has been announced for the Orlando return engagement of Disney's The Lion King. The show's first appearance in the Walt Disney Theater at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, and it's third time to Orlando, the four-week engagement runs from February 14 through March 11.

Casting has been announced for the Atlanta return engagement of Disney's The Lion King, which will leap onto the Fox Theatre stage on January 10 for a limited three week engagement through January 28 as a special to the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2017/2018 season.

Disney's THE LION KING Roars into Baltimore Tonight

As part of the 2017/2018 CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Hippodrome Broadway Series, Disney's The Lion King opens tonight, Thursday, November 16, at the Hippodrome Theatre for a limited engagement of four weeks through Sunday, December 10.

Casting has been announced for the 2014 Planet Connections Theatre Festivity Gala 'One Acts for a Cause' set to take place on Sunday, June 22 at 7:30pm at the East 13th Street Theater (136 East 13th Street).The evening, which will benefit the non-profit NYC food services agency City Harvest, will feature Academy Award-winner Melissa Leo (The Fighter)?, three-time Tony Award nominee Mary Beth Hurt (Crimes of the Heart, films The World According to Garp & The Age of Innocence), Caissie Levy (currently starring as Fantine in LES MISERABLES), Phoebe Strole (Spring Awakening, Glee), Jonathan Walker (Rocky, The Assembled Parties), Eric Lenox Abrams (All The Way), Kellie Overbey (The Coast of Utopia) Tina Benko (Irena's Vow, Top Girls) & Andrew Garman (Salome with Al Pacino), Obie Award-winners Russell G. October 11, 2013 at 7pm at the new eTown Hall: 1535 Spruce St. in Boulder, LOCAL Theater Company presents 'Body of Work' an eclectic evening of words, dance and music revering the body, featuring a talk from Eve Ensler ('The Vagina Monologues'). Ensler will also read excerpts from her new book 'In the Body of the World;' Jamie Ann Romero and LOCAL Company member Rachel Fowler will perform pieces from Ensler's 'The Good Body;' Courtney Thomas of the Off-Broadway production of Ensler's 'Emotional Creatures' will perform a piece from Ensler's most recent play; Los Angeles dance pioneer Miss Prissy will introduce Boulder to krump; and throughout the night DJ Savior Breath rides the turntables-- all followed by a complimentary wine and dessert after-party.

There, a mysterious maid bringing him a cup of room service coffee causes him to reflect on his life and destiny in Katori Hall's Olivier-winning play THE MOUNTAINTOP, running at TheaterWorks in Hartford.

EMOTIONAL CREATURE to Play Final Performance 1/13

The Off Broadway premiere of Emotional Creature, the newest play by Tony Award-winning playwright, performer, activist, and The Vagina Monologues author Eve Ensler, will end its limited engagement as scheduled on Sunday, January 13th. Produced Off Broadway by Carole Black and Pat Mitchell, and directed by Obie Award-winner Jo Bonney (By the Way, Meet Vera Stark) with original music and musical direction by Charl-Johan Lingenfelder, Emotional Creature began previews The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street) on Friday, October 26, 2012, and officially opened on Monday, November 12, 2012.
