Chicago Theatre Artists Produce SEASON OF CAROLS CD, Perform Kick-Off Concert, 12/3

Producers, Eugene Dizon and Cory Goodrich have recorded a new holiday album of music SEASON OF CAROLS which features over one hundred Chicago theatre artists, singers and musicians. This new holiday CD was produced to raise funds for Season of Concern, which supports Chicago artists in need. SEASON OF CAROLS is now available for sale at www.seasonofcarols.com and will be kicked-off with a special concert on Monday, December 3 at 7:30pm at Mercury Theater Chicago.

THE CHRISTMAS SCHOONER Returns to the Mercury Theatre This Holiday Season

THE CHRISTMAS SCHOONER returns to the Mercury Theater (3745 N. Southport, Chicago), from November 23 through December 30, 2012. The press opening will be on Wednesday, November 28 at 7:30 p.m. The whole family will enjoy this heart-warming story of the first Christmas tree ship and the family who risked their lives to fill Chicago with the Christmas spirit.

Writers’ Theatre Extends A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC Through 8/12

Writers' Theatre, under the direction of Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma, announces the second and final extension of its acclaimed musical A Little Night Music, music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by Hugh Wheeler, directed by William Brown. The production, originally scheduled to run May 1 through July 8, 2012, will now run through August 12, 2012 at Writers' Theatre, 325 Tudor Court in Glencoe.
