Cabaret on the Hudson Series Comes to Irvington Town Hall Theater in December

The performance will be held on Sunday, December 11 at 3pm. Cabaret on the Hudson is a series that features three outstanding cabaret performers or small groups, each bringing a 25 minute sampling of their New York City cabaret shows to Westchester, NY. Many of the performers are Broadway veterans and have performed in New York City venues such as 54 BELOW, the Oak Room at the Algonquin, Birdland, Feinstein's at Loews Regency, Iridium, the Metropolitan Room and Jazz at Lincoln Center to name a few. Cabaret on the Hudson will be hosted by multi-nominated Cabaret singer and host of the Music at the Mansion series, Corinna Sowers Adler and will feature Matt Baker on piano.

New Jersey-raised, multi-award winning New York cabaret vocalist Stearns Matthews will present a benefit concert titled The Stearns Matthews Christmas Special on Saturday, December 17th at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair. The first half of the program will feature the song cycle December Songs by Broadway composer Maury Yeston and the second half will harken back to the television Christmas specials of yesteryear, complete with chestnuts, presents, and yuletide by the fireside!

There's no place like home for the holidays, or at least no place like Irvington Town Hall Theater (ITHT). ITHT in association with NiCori Studios and Productions announces the third season of Cabaret on the Hudson planned as a holiday cabaret on Sunday, December 11 at 3pm. This series offers a unique experience where audience and the performer engage in a musical conversation. Cabaret on the Hudson is hosted by multi-nominated Cabaret singer and host of the Music at the Mansion series, Corinna Sowers Adler who will be bringing outstanding cabaret performers to Irvington where they show a sampling of their New York City Cabaret shows. Sowers Adler recently premiered her show 'Something Beautiful' at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Appel Room.

the 2016 Cabaret Convention returns to the Rose Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall, from Tuesday, October 18th through Friday, October 21st to present four different music programs. More than seventy singers are scheduled to appear, and the productions include specific tributes to the songs of Stephen Sondheim, the lyrics of Sheldon Harnick, the melodies of Charles Strouse, and the repertoire of legendary jazz artist Sylvia Syms.

Ami Brabson has had recurring roles in a number of television shows. She frequently appeared as Mary Pembleton in HOMICIDE: Life on the Streets. Recently making her solo debut in The Appel Room, Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall, singer and actress, CORINNA SOWERS ADLER returns to the Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, on Sunday, May 22 at 7pm for an encore performance of her highly acclaimed show 'High Standards'. The show is musically directed by legendary musical arranger, Alex Rybeck and will feature Broadway veteran Lawrence Yurman on piano. The show is a musical journey through some of the best music ever written, reimagined by Mr. Rybeck including songs by Meredith Wilson, Leonard Bernstein/Betty Comden & Adolf Green, Leslie Bricusse/Cyril Ornadel, John Lennon and Joni Mitchell, to name a few.

NYC Cabaret Singer, Corinna Sowers Adler made her debut in the majestic Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Sunday, December 20 and Broadwayworld was there.. She was hand picked to sing on the new series entitled, 'Music Over Manhattan'. Corinna was honored to be a nominee for the first ever Tony Award for Excellence in Theatre Education earlier this year. She made her solo New York City cabaret debut in 2010 at the Laurie Beechman Theater in Stories...A Cabaret. Since then, Corinna has been in high demand as a singer, performing solo shows at Stage 72 at the Triad, the legendary Duplex Cabaret, Feinstein's at Loews Regency, Metropolitan Room and 54 BELOW. Joining Corinna in the show were five of her students, Kevin W. Berger, Grace Carlin, Gerry Mastrolia, Talia Wynzel and Zoe Gelman. John Senakwami was the producer.
