Arizona Theatre Company (ATC) closes its 2012-2013 season with the eagerly anticipated Arizona premiere of Bruce Norris' multi-award-winning, provocative new comedy, "Clybourne Park." Performances will be held at The Herberger Theater Center in downtown Phoenix May 2 through May 19, 2013. ATC season sponsors are I. Michael and Beth Kasser. Phoenix production sponsor is Zazu Pannee Park Regent.

Tony and three-time Emmy Award-winner Amanda Plummer will return to the New York stage after a 15-year absence, along with Academy Award-nominated actor Brad Dourif (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest) in the Off-Broadway premiere production of Tennessee Williams' rarely seen The Two-Character Play at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). Previews begin Monday, June 10. Opening Night is set for June 19 at 8:00 p.m. Equal parts Southern Gothic thriller, black comedy and psychological drama, the work, written during a time of great personal strife, is abstractly based on Williams' close yet complicated relationship with his sister, Rose. Gene David Kirk directs.

Heather Hitchens, Executive Director of the American Theatre Wing, has announced that the Wing's 2012 Gala, held Monday, September 24 at The Plaza Hotel, was the most successful in the organization's history, raising just shy of $600,000.

The American Theatre Wing previously announced that its annual Gala, to be held tonight, September 24 at 6:30 PM at The Plaza Hotel (Fifth Avenue at Central Park South), will honor the Redgrave family's six generations of outstanding work and invaluable contributions to the theatrical community. Vanessa Redgrave, along with other family members, will be in attendance to share in the celebration.

This classic revenge tragedy comes to life in a modern and edgy adaptation set in the world of motorcycle gangs. This production of Othello will be directed by Artistic Director Mark Clements, the role of Othello will be performed by guest actor Lindsay Smiling, and the role of Iago will be performed by Rep Resident Acting Company Member Gerard Neugent. Gladden signed new five-year contracts with the Alley beginning fiscal year 2011-2012 and continuing through fiscal year 2015-2016.

The National Theatre of Great Britain's production of WAR HORSE, presented by Lincoln Center Theater and the National Theatre of Great Britain in association with Bob Boyett, is now in previews at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65th Street). WAR HORSE is based on the novel by Michael Morpurgo, adapted by Nick Stafford, with Handspring Puppet Company, and directed by Marianne Elliott and Tom Morris.
