Last night, stage and recording star Deborah Gibson and husband, Dr. Rutledge Taylor, attended a performance of Newsies to see Gibson's nephew Nicholas Lampiasi, who plays the role of Les, in the Tony Award winning new American musical.

Disney Theatrical Productions announced today that the Broadway production of Newsies has recouped its investment in just over nine months -- the fastest a Disney production has ever turned a profit.

Music, magic and merriment come together when Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida present the 29th annual 'Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade' holiday TV special, airing December 25 on the ABC Television Network.

Last night, eight-time Grammy Award winner and 2009 Tony® Award nominee Dolly Parton, attended a performance of Newsies, the Tony® Award winning new American musical, and visited with the cast backstage afterwards. Parton attended with the show's director, Jeff Calhoun. Calhoun first worked with Parton when he was cast as a dancer in the 1982 film version of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and recently directed both the US and UK tours of her Broadway musical 9 to 5.
