Coming up this week, 54 BELOW, the performance venue located just below the legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz and beyond. 54 Below also launched its series of late night events. Joining Tuesday nights' popular 'Backstage' with Susie Mosher is the '54 Piano Bar,' a new vocal competition - 'The Callback,' and more:

Elvis Costello and Diana Krall seized the day on Sunday, May 20, at the hit Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, NEWSIES. Following the performance, the couple visited with the cast backstage. Check out a photo below!

On Friday and Saturday, May 24th-25th, Schmackary's will celebrate its first birthday with several special offerings.

Last night, April 22, after arriving in New York for a three game series against the Mets, LA Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw and his wife, Ellen, attended the hit Broadway musical Newsies. Newsies, the hit Tony Award-winning musical celebrated its first year on Broadway with its entire creative team and Mauro Castano from Carlo's Bakery and TLC's 'Cake Boss,' who created a one of a kind cake for the special occasion.

Newsies features a Tony Award-winning score with music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken and lyrics by Jack Feldman, with a book by four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein. Produced by Disney Theatrical Productions, Newsies is directed by Tony nominee Jeff Calhoun and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli, who won a 2012 Tony Award for his work.
