The Creative Coalition's annual benefit dinner was held on Friday, May 2, 2014 to promote continuing support for the arts in America. Now celebrating its 22nd Anniversary, The Blank Theatre's Nationwide Young Playwrights Festival has chosen 12 plays by young playwrights aged 16 - 19, from seven different states. These plays will be presented by professional actors and directors in this year's festival at The Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood, June 5 - 29.

Kevin Spacey will shortly return to the land of corruption - also known as Washington DC. HOUSE OF CARDS star Constance Zimmer let it be known today on Twitter that shooting on Season 2 of the runaway-hit streamer will begin later this month. Deadline caught the tweet, and was the first to report.
