A Different Kind of Cool is the first one-man show Jack Gallagher has performed at B Street Theatre since his 2006 hit What He Left. In A Different Kind of Cool Gallagher explores life with his wife and children as they learn to accept each other's differences while facing the challenges of being a modern family.

COMEDY CENTRAL, the preeminent brand in comedy, is teaming up with the New York Comedy Festival, to produce 'Comics To Watch,' a live show featuring the best up-and-coming young comedians from across the country.

Associated Press is reporting that Glee's Las Michele has been booked as a guest for Conan O'Brien's first TBS show on Monday November 8th.

The three of the top forces in the local comedy scene have formed the Philadelphia Comedy Collective, and are set to present Comedy Month from November 1-21 at the Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre, 2111 Sansom Street. This event marks the largest collection of comedy performances in the city outside of the annual Philly Fringe. The month will kick-off with the sixth annual Philadelphia Improv Festival. The festival runs from November 2-6 with multiple shows nightly. The festival is also hosting two special headliner shows Friday, November 5 at the Ethical Society, 1906 Rittenhouse Square.

Broadway's JACKIE HOFFMAN, acclaimed for her hysterical scene-stealing performances in such shows as Hairspray, Xanadu and currently as 'Grandma' in The Addams Family, will bring her all-new solo show Jackie Five-Oh!

The Magnet Theater announces casting for an evening of music and improve comedy to benefit Gilda's Club New York City on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 7:30pm at The Helen Mills Theater, 139 W. 26th Street (between 6th and 7th Avenues), NYC.

Chris Isaacson in association with UPRIGHT CABARET announced the world premiere of Jennifer Leigh Warren starring in 'LITTLE WOMAN/BIG VOICE: The Songs of Dame Shirley Bassey,' which will make its Los Angeles debut in Spring 2011. Acclaimed Director Richard Jay-Alexander (Barbra Streisand, Bette Midler 'Kiss My Brass' Tour, Bernadette Peters) is at the helm.

Gregory Mosher will direct a revival of Jason Miller's Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning play THAT CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON on Broadway at a Shubert Theatre to be announced in March 2011. The play will star Brian Cox as "Coach," Jim Gaffigan as "George Sikowski," Chris Noth as "Phil Romano," Jason Patric as "Tom Daley" and Kiefer Sutherland as "James Daley."

Following the extremely successful 'Live Coco Cam,' a 24-hour look behind-the-scenes at the Conan offices, Conan O'Brien is letting his fans in on the ultimate warm-up for his new TBS show. O'Brien will host 'Show Zero' on Monday, Nov. 1, at 11 p.m.

Choreographed by Joby Rogers, who portrays Michael, and utilizing the talent of 8 dancers, The Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience envelops the audience in a wave of visual excitement not seen since Michael's final concert. The show will make its area debut at the State Theatre in Easton on Saturday, October 30th at 8 PM. Prior to the show, patrons are invited to a Thriller Party in the State Theatre's Alvin H. Butz Gallery from 6 PM - 8 PM.

Z2 Entertainment & Boulder Weekly present Tapes N' Tapes at the Fox Theatre on Saturday, March 5th. Tapes 'n Tapes is a rock band from Minneapolis, MN, made up of Josh Grier on guitar and lead vocals, Matt Kretzmann on keys and horns, Erik Appelwick on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Jeremy Hanson on percussion.
