Joe's Pub Releases Schedule for December 23rd through January 1st including AMBER MARTIN: AMBER ALERT!, SCREAM ALONG WITH BILLY: A VERY NICO CHRISTMAS, JACKIE FIVE-0H!: A CELEBRATION OF JACKIE HOFFMAN'S FIRST 50TH BIRTHDAY, OUR LADY J: THE GOSPEL OF DOLLY, and SANDRA BERNHARD.

Broadway's JACKIE HOFFMAN, acclaimed for her hysterical scene-stealing performances in such shows as Hairspray, Xanadu and currently as 'Grandma' in The Addams Family, will bring her all-new solo show Jackie Five-Oh!

Beaches 2 will steal your hearts (and souls) with their holiday themed sketch comedy show! God help us, every one. Featuring musical guest, Reggie Watts! The comedy show, presented by Horse Trade Theater Group and Beaches 2, will play at Under St Marks Theater (94 St. Marks Place between 1st and A) Sunday, December 12th @ 7pm. Tickets ($5) are available at the door. They serve beer!

John Treacy Egan will star as Ebeneezer Scrooge in A SLEEPY HOLLOW CHRISTMAS CAROL. Egan's SCROOGE will take on Washington Irving's characters, when he stars in this enchanting musical which is set in the town of Sleepy Hollow, New York in 1900. A new twist on an old classic, It weaves the magic of the Charles Dickens classic with the delightful characters from Washington Irving's vivid imagination and tells the tale of a Sleepy Hollow businessman, Ebenezer Scrooge, who had no love in his heart for his fellow man, especially at Christmastime. Scrooge meets Washington Irving who takes him on a redemptive adventure to his past, present and future where he meets his boyhood self and such characters as Ichabod Crane, Katrina Van Tassel, Jacob Marley, Tiny Tim and several other surprising encounters. A SLEEPY HOLLOW CHRISTMAS CAROL is brimming with joyous music that will fill audiences with the holiday spirit and leave them with Dickens's reflective message...'It's never too late to change!', including popular Holiday songs 'Deck the Halls'; 'Silver Bells'; 'I'll Be Home for Christmas' any many more.

The New York premiere of PLAY DEAD, a new Off-Broadway thriller co-written and directed by Teller of Penn & Teller and co-written & performed by Todd Robbins, began performances at Off-Broadway's Players Theater 115 MacDougal Street at Minetta Lane on Thursday, October 21 for an open-ended run. The official press opening was Wednesday, November 10.

Stars Daniel Radcliffe and John Larroquette will be joined by Tammy Blanchard as Hedy La Rue, Christopher J. Hanke as Bud Frump, Rob Bartlett as Twimble/Wally Womper, Mary Faber as Smitty, Ellen Harvey as Miss Jones and, in her Broadway debut, Rose Hemingway, as Radcliffe's onstage romantic interest, Rosemary Pilkington.
