Columbia Pictures will be releasing Adam Sandler's upcoming comedy JACK AND JILL on November 11, 2011.

The entertainment industry turned out in full-force tonight in support of the Motion Picture & Television Fund's (MPTF) 'Reel Stories, Real Lives,' a unique evening of powerful readings which told the stories of industry members and their families who have benefitted from MPTF's services over the years. BroadwayWorld has confirmed that the musical adaptation of Tim Burton's BIG FISH, will hold a private industry reading next week in New York City. As previously announced, the show, which was initially aiming for Broadway in spring 2012, is now set to open in spring 2013.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN is coming to theaters on July 3, 2012 from Columbia Pictures. The action adventure, based on the Marvel Comic Book written by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko is directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, with Martin Sheen and Sally Field.

Nick Swardson's twisted world of trust fund kitties, gay robots and the infamous 'Garry Gaga' will return as COMEDY CENTRAL begins production on the second season of 'Nick Swardson's Pretend Time,' it was announced today by Kent Alterman, head of original programming and production, COMEDY CENTRAL. The second season of the hit sketch series premieres tonight at 10:30 p.m. following the fall season premiere of 'South Park.'

As reported by Variety, the Showtime network and actor Michael C. Hall, star of Showtime's hit series 'Dexter', have been locked in contract negotiations for several months. Now Variety reports that if an agreement can be successfully reached between the cable network and the actor, Hall would be allowed to star in the upcoming Broadway musical adaptation of Tim Burton's, BIG FISH.
