THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN is coming to theaters on July 3, 2012 from Columbia Pictures.  The action adventure, based on the Marvel Comic Book written by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko is directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, with Martin Sheen and Sally Field.

As in the comic book, the upcoming film will feature Peter Parker (a.k.a. Spider-Man) in his younger days as a high school teenager. Other storyline details are currently being kept under wraps.
