The large-scale spectacle and public art group Redmoon is proud to announce dates for the URBAN INTERVENTIONS tour of Chicagoland from June 18th to October 14th, 2012. Beginning in June, throughout the summer and across the city, Redmoon will deliver a series of original events in order to intervene into different urban scenarios and disrupt Chicagoans' daily routines. Redmoon is partnering with communities in the North, South, and West to share its art and theater at local festivals, parades, and other public gatherings. Each event will feature one of three highly engineered central objects working in concert with a team of artists and performers to support the unique stories that Redmoon has to tell, designed with the goal of creating spontaneous celebration and community within each urban locale.
