Colin Quinn's New Web Series COP SHOW to Debut Later This Month

'Cop Show,' an eight-episode Web series written by and starring comedian and Saturday Night Live (SNL) alum Colin Quinn, has been ordered by L/Studio (?LStudio.com) for the series debut season on February 18th. The comedy is executive produced by Morris S. Levy of MEGA Films (HBO's 'Seduced and Abandoned'), Brian Stern (Comedy Central's 'Big Time in Hollywood, FL') and Colin Quinn and directed by J.D. Amato ('The Chris Gethard Show'). Shooting began last month in New York City.

Today, over 175 comedy and variety writers have signed a petition urging ITV to enter a collective bargaining agreement to protect its nonfiction writer-producers, including those set for the 10 ordered episodes of NBC's Neil Patrick Harris' variety show announced back in October.

The Off-Broadway hit "plomedy," SHUT UP SIT DOWN & EAT broke Snapple Theater Center (1627 Broadway at 50 Street) attendance records last year and will be returning in 2015 to extend its stay in New York City. The show will playing Sundays at 5:15PM, beginning February 15 through May 31, 2015.
