The Apple Store in SoHo (103 Prince Street) will host a special afternoon with composer/creator David Byrne along with the cast of the hit off-Broadway musical Here Lies Love on Saturday afternoon, October 25th from 2 to 3 p.m.

Bradley Cooper, Patricia Clarkson, and Alessandro Nivola stopped by this morning's TODAY on NBC to talk about their new Broadway play THE ELEPHANT MAN, based on the life of a 19th century man with severe deformities.

After a sold-out engagement at The Public Theater in 2013 and the current commercial off-Broadway run at The Public Theater producers Joey Parnes and Emursive have announced that the David Byrne and Fatboy Slim's' smash hit musical, Here Lies Love, directed by Alex Timbers, will play its final performance in New York on Sunday, January 4th, 2015. The initial Public Theater production began performances on April 2, 2013 and ended its run (after four extensions) on July 28, 2013. The current production reopened at The Public Theater on April 14, 2014 with an official opening on May 1, 2014

Come and dance the blues away with Five Guys Named Moe! Helen Hayes Award winner Robert O'Hara (Bootcandy, director of The Mountaintop at Arena Stage) returns to Arena Stage to direct an explosive, reimagined tribute to the 'King of the Jukebox'-legendary composer and saxophonist Louis Jordan. This modernized production features new orchestrations for classic songs, including 'Let the Good Times Roll' and 'Is You Is or Is You Ain't My Baby,' and a contemporary twist on the five Moes, now a hit boy band set in 2014. This dynamic musical revue features musical direction by Darryl G. Ivey (assistant music director for original Broadway production of Five Guys Named Moe) and choreography by Byron Easley (off-Broadway's Langston in Harlem). Playwrights Horizons announced today that their New York premiere production of the acclaimed new play Bootycandy, written and directed by Obie Award winner Robert O'Hara, would extend an additional week. The production is the season opener of the theater company's 2014/2015 Season. After opening on Wednesday, September 10, the limited engagement -- originally scheduled to play through Sunday, October 12 -- will now play through Sunday, October 19 at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street).

The Guthrie Theater presents the first production on the Wurtele Thrust Stage in the 2014-2015 season, Wendy Wasserstein's Pulitzer Prize-winning play The Heidi Chronicles.
