Executive Producer Robyn Goodman, Producing Director Alexander Fraser and Producers Stephen Kocis and Josh Fiedler recently announced details on the cast and creative team of "The Nerd," Larry Shue's outrageously funny comedy, which will run at Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) from June 23 through July 15.
SPACE on Ryder Farm, the non-profit artist residency program located on Ryder Farm, an idyllic 200 year-old working organic farm in Brewster, New York announced its 2017 season for The Working Farm, Family Residency, Creative Solutions Symposium and Artistic Residency programs at The Players Club. The Directors Company has announced its monthly reading series in The Directors Studio. The first reading in the series is Desperados a new play by David Epstein, featuring two-time Tony Award Winner James Naughton (Chicago, City of Angels) and Laila Robins (Lucille Lortel nominee, Frozen.) Theatre enthusiasts will be thrilled by the LaBute New Theater Festival now onstage at 59E59 Theaters. There are four distinctive one-act plays being performed in the venue's intimate theater space through February 5th.
Produced by the St. Louis Actors' Studio, the LaBUTE NEW THEATER FESTIVAL, an evening of one-act plays, features the NYC premieres of short plays by Gabe McKinley, CaRy Pepper, and Adam Seidel as well as a world premiere short play by Neil LaBute.

?Westport Country Playhouse will present a Script in Hand playreading of Sidney Howard's "The Late Christopher Bean," a comedy about paintings left to a family by a deceased artist suddenly skyrocketing in value, on Monday, June 27, at 7 p.m. The play will be directed by Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist and curator of the playreading series. Tickets are $20 each.
