A Little New Music returns to the Catalina Jazz Club in the heart of Hollywood on Tuesday, March 6 at 8:30pm, with a stellar lineup of singers and exciting new musical theatre songs! Scroll down for photos of the cast in rehearsal.

A Little New Music will spotlight a diverse array of artists performing new and unheard musical theatre songs in a classic cabaret setting at Hollywood's historic Catalina Jazz Club on Tuesday, March 6 at 8:30pm.  Audiences of A Little New Music's concert series discover firsthand pieces of musical theatre that could become Broadway hits.

On Tuesday, March 6 at 8:30pm, A Little New Music (ALNM) presents its sixteenth concert of the latest 'new or unheard' musical theatre songs at the historic Catalina Jazz Club. Be among the first to discover the best new writing for Broadway, brought to life by LA's premier performing artists and the ALNM band. The event is co-hosted by Broadway's J. Elaine Marcos (ANNIE, PRISCILLA) and MadTV's Michelle Ortiz under the guest music direction of singer, songwriter, and arranger Jan Roper (Hollywood Bowl, Musical Theatre Guild).

"Save Me a Spot," the debut musical by Waldkirch & Lowder makes its world premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, with five performances beginning June 3rd at Asylum's Studio C 6448 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90038.

Award winning theatre director and veteran TV writer/producer, Stan Zimmerman, has been set to direct the World Premiere of Paul Shoulberg's play 'Synthesis'. The four character ensemble piece will have a limited run of 12 performances.

CELEBRATION THEATRE presents as part of its New Works Reading Series, ON THE ROOF by Donna Hoke, directed by Christopher Mikish and performing one night only, Today, April 19 at the West Hollywood City Chambers, 625 N. San Vicente in West Hollywood.   It's 1955-post WWII, amid McCarthyism, years before Stonewall. In this dangerous and difficult era, Mitzi operates a cabaret and gay bar where she, Cruz, a playboy bartender; Levi, an aspiring Broadway composer; Bob, a WWII vet; Mac, a guy who just wants camaraderie with his Coke; and Andy, a newcomer with a law degree struggle to find solidarity and courage-maybe even love.

After selling out its entire run following a smashing preview, L.A.-based arts collective The Norton School will add several performances for MAX & ELSA: NO MUSIC. NO CHILDREN. at the 2015 Hollywood Fringe Festival.

L.A.-based arts collective The Norton School will make its company debut with the world premiere of MAX & ELSA: NO MUSIC. NO CHILDREN. at the 2015 Hollywood Fringe Festival. Written by Mason Flink & Lindsay Kerns and directed by Flink, MAX & ELSA will run at the Asylum Lab (1078 Lillian Way) from June 7-26, 2015.

Downstairs Cabaret Theatre, in association with Eastman School of Music jazz students, will present The Grove Place Jazz Project -- An Evening of Swing, Ballads, and Blues each Today evening at 7:00pm beginning tonight, February 17, 2015. Performances will take place at 20 Windsor Street (near Eastman Theatre).

Secondline Productions is producing a Halloween double bill featuring 30-minute musical parodies of two 80's film classics, TEEN WITCH and GHOSTBUSTER, Sundays through October 27 at Atwater Village Theatre. It's a fun series of shows directed and adapted by Brooke Seguin and featuring music by Seguin and Dan Wessels.

After six original musical theatre adaptations of cult-classic and blockbuster films (Showgirls, Jurassic Park, Top Gun, Teen Witch and Ghostbusters), and a 'Best Musical' nomination at the 2012 Hollywood Fringe Festival, 30 Minute Musicals settles in to The Celebration Theatre during their historic 30th Season.

"Fishing" - a spicy comedy and irreverent satire that blurs the line between food and sex, jobs and relationships - will have its Los Angeles premiere tonight, Aug. 23-Sept. 22 at the Archway Theatre in downtown L.A.'s Arts District.
