Huntington Theatre Company welcomes Julia Duffy, Tony Award winner Adriane Lenox, and Boston favorite Will Lyman alongside Malcolm-Jamal Warner in Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, the opening production of the 2014 Best of Boston's 33rd season.

Steep Theatre Company will launch its fourteenth season with the Midwest Premiere of Hamish Linklater's The Vandal, directed by Shade Murray. Steep's production marks the Chicago debut not only of the play, but also of the playwright. While audiences across the nation may be familiar with his extensive credits as an actor on film, television, and stage, The Vandal is Mr. Linklater's playwriting debut. The production opens on Thursday, October 2 at Steep's Edgewater home.

In the coming months, Broadway will welcome a fresh crop of productions- many of which will mark the Broadway debuts for a slew of talented actors. Atlantic Theater Company's world premiere production of Tony Award nominee Stephen Adly Guirgis' play BETWEEN RIVERSIDE AND CRAZY, directed by Tony Award nominee Austin Pendleton, began previews July 10, opened to critical acclaim on July 31 and plays through today, August 23 off-Broadway at Atlantic's main stage Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street).

Alan Smithee Directed This Play from Big Dance Theater comes to BAM's Harvey Theater (651 Fulton Street), running September 30-October 4, 2014.

Performances begin January 9, 2015 for Classic Stage Company's production of Ivan Turgenev's A MONTH IN THE COUNTRY. Directed by Erica Schmidt, the play will feature Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage and Orange Is the New Black star Taylor Schilling.

The Theatre @ Boston Court presents Happy Days by Samuel Beckett, directed by Andrei Belgrader and featuring Brooke Adams and Tony Shalhoub. Opening night is Saturday, September 13, 2014 on the Main Stage at Boston Court Performing Arts Center, 70 North Mentor Avenue.

MOSES, THE AUTHOR, a world premiere comedy by Andrew R. Heinze, will be presented as part of the 18th Annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC, held this year from today, August 8th - 24th.

Sharon Tate in Heaven, presented by This American Blonde Actress and Mississippi Mud Productions, returns for a limited special New York City run today, August 8th-11th, followed by two special dates in Lido Beach, New York August 16th and 17th.

The Old Globe today announced the full cast and creative team for the World Premiere of Bright Star, a new American musical featuring music by Edie Brickell and Steve Martin, lyrics by Brickell, and book by Martin, based on an original story by Martin and Brickell. Directed by Walter Bobbie, Bright Star will run September 13 - November 2, 2014 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run September 13 - September 27. Opening night is Sunday, September 28 at 7:00 p.m. Single tickets go on sale on Friday, August 8 at noon.

Steep Theatre's upcoming Fourteenth Season features a slate of four premieres directed by a lineup of Chicago's hottest directors. Steep Artistic Associates Jonathan Berry, Joanie Schultz, and Robin Witt, who have accounted for some of Steep's most memorable shows in recent years, return home to direct this season.

Sharon Tate in Heaven has a new home in New York City for the August 8-11 run. The White Box Studio C at The Alchemical Theatre Laboratory. The Old Globe today announced the creation of an exciting new producing platform, Globe for All. This free-of-charge tour of a professional production of Shakespeare will allow the theatre to serve more communities throughout San Diego by collaborating with a diverse range of local organizations. Old Globe Artistic Director Barry Edelstein will direct the first production, Shakespeare's fascinating romance All's Well That Ends Well. He plans to cast local professional actors, including recent graduates of the Old Globe/University of San Diego M.F.A. Program in classical acting. The first Globe for All free Shakespeare tour will begin October 28 and will culminate in three low-cost performances in the Globe's Hattox Hall November 7-9.

2011 Tony nominee for Best Play VENUS IN FUR, written by David Ives, inspired by Austrian writer Leopold von Sacher-Masoch's 1870 novella 'Venus in Furs,' made its Asian premiere in Singapore last year.
