If you enjoyed the corny fun of those old-fashioned holiday variety shows starring Donny and Marie, Perry Como and The Mandrell Sisters, you'll love A Very Special (Holiday) Special at Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre today, December 2 at 8:00 p.m. Located at their home at the Oakes Center in Summit, Dreamcatcher takes a break from their mainstage schedule to perform their affectionate send-up of traditional holiday entertainment.

Wendy McLeod's good-natured little two-hander Things Being What They Are is now on at Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre, the professional theater in residence at Oakes Center in Summit, NJ. The show, comfortably directed by Producing Artistic Director Laura Ekstrand, runs weekends through May 7th. When it soars, it soars, and when it meanders, it maintains a pleasant, if tame, personality.

Dreamcatcher presents THINGS BEING WHAT THEY ARE

Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre, professional theatre in residence at Oakes Center in Summit, is producing the New Jersey Premiere of Wendy MacLeod's Things Being What They Are. This seriocomedy, written by the Artistic Director of the Kenyon Playwrights Conference, was originally produced at Seattle Rep and then had an extended run at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre. Things Being What They Are runs April 20 - May 7, 2017.

Ravenscroft, an English drawing room murder mystery and a comedy, opens at the Morris Museum's Bickford Theatre on Thursday, January 26, and runs through Sunday, February 12.
