Finian's Rainbow, which just ended a critically acclaimed five-performance run at New York City Center's Encores! series last weekend, will move to Broadway's St. James Theatre in the fall. Producers David Richenthal and Jack Viertel announced that the show, which hasn't been seen on Broadway since 1960 (it premiered in 1947), will be adapted from the Encores! concert presentation into a full production.

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) continues its 2008-09 season Koret Visiting Artist Series with 'The Inner 'I': How Artists See Themselves,' a conversation with Lotfi Mansouri, celebrated opera director and the general director emeritus of the San Francisco Opera; Judy Kaye, the Tony Award-winning star of A.C.T.'s Souvenir; and the internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano Frederica von Stade. Moderated by A.C.T. Artistic Director Carey Perloff, the conversation will focus on the different ways artists view themselves and how these self-images affect their work. 'The Inner 'I' is presented in conjunction with A.C.T.'s production of Stephen Temperley's Souvenir, which tells the story of Florence Foster Jenkins, a New York socialite and tone-deaf diva who thought she was a great soprano. The conversation will be followed by a Q&A session with the audience. The ABC Family is set to air 'Ruby and the Rockits', Shaun Cassidy developed it for his brothers, David & Patrick, with youngest brother, Ryan on sets & props. 'Ruby and The Rockits' is an ABC Studios half-hour comedy series executive-produced by Shaun Cassidy ('Invasion') and Marsh McCall ('Carpoolers'). 'Ruby and The Rockits' follows Patrick Gallagher, a former teen idol who has chosen to lead a quiet life with his wife and two sons. But when his former Rockits band mate and brother, David, shows up unexpectedly with his new-found teenage daughter in tow, the Gallagher family's life becomes anything but normal. David, who refuses to give up his past glory days, comes to Patrick for help raising Ruby while he continues to perform.

The Toxic Avenger, a new musical by Joe DiPietro (I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change) & David Bryan (Bon Jovi), with direction by John Rand0 (Urinetown), will begin performances on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street), it was announced today by the show's producers Jean Cheever and Tom Polum. Designed to provide theatergoers with an exclusive, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of CHICAGO, the 'Talkback Tuesdays' series began Tuesday, September 23, 2008, with a post-show conversation with Tony Award-winning director Walter Bobbie.
