Green Space will offer a diverse roster of new/emerging artists in September. Fertile Ground will present new work by various artists and Take Root will present an evening of work by Gina Graham/Esse Aficionado.

The Show Goes On Productions presents To Carry On… a Tribute to the Life and Music of Laura Nyro written and performed by Mimi Cohen. Gretchen Cryer directs and Jeffrey Klitz music directs. The production opens on Ms. Nyro's 66th birthday, Friday, October 18th, and runs for six performances beginning Friday, October 18 to Sunday, October 27, 2013, at The TBG Theatre, 312 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor in NYC.

Single tickets to Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of Harvey Fierstein's CASA VALENTINA, are on sale today, Monday, September 23 at 12PM. Hennepin Theatre Trust previously announced that lauded local singer/songwriter Jeremy Messersmith will launch the New Century Sessions, a new Minnesota music series giving artists a chance to not only play, but to share the evolution of their work. The series will run at the Trust's intimate New Century Theatre in downtown Minneapolis. The concert featuring Messersmith with Twin Cities band Cjell Cruze opening, is set for 7 p.m. tonight, Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013. Doors open at 6:30.

This Fall in New York City, General Mischief presents multiple premieres in a two-part performance series starting with 'Three if by Air' at the Manhattan Movement Arts Center this weekend, September 21-22, followed by 'Four on the Floor' at New York City Center Studios on October 18-19.

Roberto Bolle and Friends was a special evening of dance featuring international Ballet Stars. From tonight, September 19-29, 2013, Houston Ballet presents Ronald Hynd's comic and enchanting The Merry Widow.Adapted from Franz Lehar's beloved operetta, the internationally-admired British choreographer Ronald Hynd adds a new layer of lavish spectacle and choreography to the original story of The Merry Widow to create an irresistibly charming and intoxicating tale of high jinks, finance, romance, and intrigue. The production features magnificent scenery and costumes by Italian designer Roberta Guidi di Bagno. The company will give seven performances at Wortham Theater Center in downtown Houston.

John J Zullo Dance/Raw Movement presents the 2013 Season at Danspace Project, tonight, September 19-21, 2013 at 8pm at the St. Mark's Church, 131 East 10th Street, NYC.

Beginning performances on Tuesday, September 24th, ALLI MAUZEY will return to the role of Glinda in the Broadway production of WICKED. Ms. Mauzey previously played the role on Broadway and on National Tour.
