We talk to the stars of the 40th anniversary production of The Rocky Horror Show...

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Rocky Horror Show, Christopher Luscombe is creating a new production for a year-long UK national tour starting at Brighton's Theatre Royal on 20 December 2012.

According to Deadline.com, Monty Python and the Holy Grail producer Mark Forstater is suing the Monty Python comedy troupe for profits he says he is owed from the Broadway musical Spamalot.

Gerard McCarthy (Bruce) and Oliver Wilson (Christopher) join the previously announced, Robert Bathurst (Robert), to complete the cast of Blue/Orange. The second show in Theatre Royal Brighton Productions inaugural season, directed by Christopher Luscombe, Joe Penhall's Blue/Orange will tour nationally from 13 September 2012, before transferring to the West End. Since its first appearance at the Royal Court Theatre in June 1973, The Rocky Horror Show has been performed worldwide for nearly 40 years in over 20 countries and has been translated into more than 10 languages. To celebrate its 40th anniversary, a fresh new production is back for a year-long UK National adventure, heading to New Wimbledon Theatre from Mon 21 - Sat 26 January 2013.

According to Whatsonstage.com, The Rocky Horror Show will launch a year-long, 40th anniversary tour of the UK in December. Casting has yet to be announced.

According to published reports, Monty Python's Spamalot, a new musical lovingly ripped off from Monty Python and the Holy Grail by Eric Idle and John Du Prez, directed by Christopher Luscombe, will move to the Playhouse Theatre following its current run at the Harold Pinter Theatre. After closing at the Pinter on September 9, the show will open at the Playhouse on November 14, where it will play through April 13.

Pace University has announced the 2012 / 2013 season of Pace Presents, hosted at The Michael Schimmel Center for The Arts located at 3 Spruce Street between Park Row and Gold Street in downtown Manhattan. Pace Presents is a world-class performing arts and culture series with an emphasis on music superstars from around the globe, charismatic and crowd-pleasing dance performances, spectacular theatre and contemporary cabaret. The Pace Presents season begins on September 22 with Gypsy brass superstars Fanfare Ciocarlia and culminates on April 20 with Jazz's living treasure, Hugh Masekela.

The Guthrie Theater today announced complete casting for its first-ever production of Hay Fever, Noel Coward's sensational and highly entertaining comedy of manners, playing March 10 - April 22, 2012, on the Wurtele Thrust Stage.

Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) has announced a new theatre company, Theatre Royal Brighton Productions, which will present classic drama both on tour and in the West End, under the Artistic Direction of Christopher Luscombe, with Associate Directors Maria Aitken and Philip Franks.

Full star casting is announced (sound the trumpets!) for Spamalot's cracking four-week Christmas season at Theatre Royal Brighton beginning on December 15, 2011; Marcus Brigstocke triumphantly returns as Arthur, King of the Britons; Nancy, sorry, Jodie Prenger, reprises her role as the Lady of The Lake; and Todd Carty, is back again (there's no getting rid of him it seems) on coconuts as Patsy.
