MOonhORsE Dance Theatre proudly presents the world premiere of Escape Artist, an evening of four stunning solos performed by Artistic Director Claudia Moore that she commissioned from acclaimed choreographers Paul-Andre Fortier, Susanna Hood, Christopher House and GADFLY(Apolonia Velasquez and Ofilio Portillo) in celebration of her 60th birthday. Escape Artist running October 25-November 2 with 8pm performances on Fri Oct 25, Sat Oct 26, Thurs Oct 31, Fri Nov 1 and Sat Nov 2; and a matinee on Sun Oct 27 at 2pm at Dancemakers Centre for Creation.

Cloud 9/7e Ciel is a new endeavor that promotes and incubates a new kind of future for seasoned Canadian dance artists. In partnership with the Young Centre for the Performing Arts, Cloud 9/7e Ciel presents its inaugural performance evening featuring two world premieres by acclaimed choreographer Susie Burpee and Tedd Robinson. These stunning works will be performed by Cloud 9/7e Ciel founders/co-artistic directors Sylvie Bouchard, Karen Kaeja and Claudia Moore with guest artists Michael Sean Marye and Ron Stewart today, June 27-29, 2013 in the Young Centre's Tank House Theatre.

Peggy Baker Dance Projects presents Stereophonic, a mixed bill of five multi-dimensional contemporary dance works choreographed by legendary dance artist Peggy Baker, including three world premieres and performance debuts in two landmark solos. Featuring a company of exquisite dancers - Peggy Baker, Sarah Fregeau, Benjamin Kamino, Sean Ling, Sahara Morimoto, Andrea Nann - as well as award-winning pianist John Kameel Farah, 2013 Electronic-Composer-in-Residence for Soundstreams Canada - Stereophonic runs Wednesday, February 27 to Sunday, March 3 at the Betty Oliphant Theatre.

The 2012 Dora Mavor Moore Awards took place this past Monday night, honouring the best of the best of the past year in Toronto theatre. The evening featured a pre-show VIP reception at The Sony Centre, a gala awards ceremony and the ever popular street party that takes place after the show under the stars on Front St. BWW was on hand to bring you pictures from the event and all the winners!
