Nominations in 26 competitive categories for THE 66th ANNUAL TONY AWARDS® were announced today by Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actor Jim Parsons and Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress Kristin Chenoweth at the Tony Award Nominations Announcement.

The 2012 Tony Awards Nominations Announcement was co-hosted this morning by Tony winning actress Kristin Chenoweth and Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actor Jim Parsons. The Tony Awards will be broadcast in a live three-hour ceremony from the Beacon Theatre, on the CBS television network on Sunday, June 10, 2012.

The critically-acclaimed new Broadway musical NEWSIES, based on the cult classic movie of the same name starring Christian Bale, is currently in performances at the Nederlander Theatre. The show just released a new commercial which features the song 'Seize the Day.'

David Garrison, currently starring as Dr. Hannibal Lecter in the Off-Broadway smash SILENCE! The Musical, will appear on two repeat broadcasts of TV Guide Network's reunion show, "The Cast of Married With Children: Where Are They Now" tonight (April 26th) at 11 PM and tomorrow (April 27th) at 7 PM (check local listings for channel).

Hundreds of hopeful actors, ages 6 to 16, showed up at the Circle in the Square Theatre today, April 25, to audition for the Broadway musical GODSPELL. The audition panel, including director Daniel Goldstein, is looking to fill 10 roles in the show. About 300 kids, including Holly Block, Gaten Matarazzo and Ellis Gage, who are featured in the video below, performed 16 measures of music for the panel.

The company of Broadway's first-ever revival of Stephen Schwartz's rock musical GODSPELL last week welcomed a new leading man- stage and screen star Corbin Bleu (Disney's 'High School Musical,' Broadway's In the Heights)- to the starring role of Jesus.
