Disney's NEWSIES had the honor of performing at the 137th Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn of The White House on Monday, April 6. Cast members performed 'Carrying the Banner', 'Santa Fe' and 'Seize the Day.' Check out a look back below!

Penn State Centre Stage will present the award-winning musical, Dogfight, tonight, April 1-11 at the Downtown Theatre Centre. With music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul and a book by Peter Duchan, the production will be directed by Richard Roland, music directed by Jordan Jones-Reese, and will feature an exciting cast of current Penn State students.

Casting has been announced for the Washington engagement of Disney's NEWSIES. The Tony Award-winning smash hit musical will play an exclusive two-week engagement at National Theatre. The production will begin performances June 9 for a limited two-week engagement through June 21.

Premiere of Broadway's Tony® Award-winning smash hit musical, Disney's NEWSIES at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre March 26. The limited four-week engagement runs through Sunday, April 19, 2015.

In 1899 droves of newsboys from every borough of New York City banned together and went on strike against Joseph Pulitzer, William Randolph Hearst and other wealthy newspaper owners, in a crusade to save children from menial wages and physical abuse. This was a first, where uneducated street kids stood up to the big suits and won. In 1992 Disney created the movie Newsies that went on to become a humongous hit. In 2012 Harvey Fierstein, Alan Menken and Jack Feldman came to Broadway with a musical show they created based on the film. Under the Disney banner, the first national tour of Newsies is currently onstage at the Pantages. All I can say is run, don't walk, to purchase tickets. The Newsies ensemble pulsates from the moment the lights hit the stage. It will jolt you, fulfill you and make you jump for joy.

The production features Dan DeLuca as 'Jack Kelly', Steve Blanchard as 'Joseph Pulitzer', Stephanie Styles as 'Katherine', Angela Grovey as 'Medda Larkin', Jacob Kemp as 'Davey', Zachary Sayle as 'Crutchie', and Vincent Crocilla and Anthony Rosenthal alternating the role of 'Les.' The highly anticipated Los Angeles premiere of Disney's NEWSIES begins performances next week on Tuesday, March 24 at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre for a 4 week engagement through Sunday, April 19. Disney Theatrical Productions and the Nederlander Organization are announcing that a day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of $20 orchestra seats will be held daily. Please note: there will be NO lottery on the official opening night: Thursday, March 26.

Good News Musical Theatre Fans! BroadwayWorld.com has confirmed Lincoln Center Theater's THE KING AND I, which features a cast led by Kelli O'Hara (as Anna Leonowens) and Ken Watanabe (as the King of Siam) will receive a cast recording this summer on the the Decca Broadway / Universal Music Classics label, produced by David Lai David Caddick and Bruce Pomahac. Of note, the the production features the musical's original 1951 orchestrations by Robert Russell Bennett with dance and incidental music arranged by Trude Rittmann. Music director Ted Sperling conducts a 29-piece orchestra which will be heard on the album as well.

The Tony Award-winning production will begin performances at the Boston Opera House on June 23 for a limited 2 week engagement through July 5. NEWSIES is part of the 2014-2015 Lexus Broadway In Boston Season.

East Jefferson General Hospital Broadway in New Orleans today announces the lineup of Broadway's biggest hits for the 2015 - 2016 season, at the historic Saenger Theatre.

Harvey Fierstein is on a UK kick these days. According to the Daily Mail, the book writer and actor said that NEWSIES, which is currently touring the United States, will arrive in the West End 'in the next couple of years,' once the right theater is available.
