Theatre East presents A Name for a Ghost to Mutter by Cyndi Williams at Urban Stages, 259 West 30th Street NYC.  Performances begin for the limited engagement on Friday, November 11, 2016. Creative team and casting to be announced at a later date.

Described at its premiere by The New York Times as a 'sunny new play about gloomy people,' Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike comes to EPAC today after a successful run on Broadway and several awards, including a 2013 Tony Award for Best Play.

McCarter Theatre Center is proud to welcome a group of esteemed and emerging playwrights and their artistic collaborators to Princeton for its annual ten-day Sallie B. Goodman Artists' Retreat. The Retreat is a centerpiece of McCarter's LAB platform which is devoted to the ongoing theatrical development of new plays, musicals and re-explored classics. The retreat runs from June 5th through June 14th.

Proving that laughter really is the best medicine, Will Geer's Theatricum Botanicum presents a fresh and hilarious new adaptation of The Imaginary Invalid - Moliere's skewering of the health care crisis from an entirely different century - by Constance Congdon. The Imaginary Invalid joins the summer repertory season at Theatricum's spectacular outdoor amphitheater in Topanga on July 9.

Season tickets are now on sale for the Theatre Group at SBCC's 2016 season of 4 plays.   The season begins July 15-30, 2016 in the Garvin Theatre with the hilarious comedy, and winner of the 2013 Tony Award, VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE by Christopher Durang.

NotTheMom Productions is thrilled to present BAD JEWS, written by Joshua Harmon and directed by Sabrina Lloyd. BAD JEWS will open on Thursday, June 30 at 8pm and run through Sunday, July 24 at Theatre of NOTE, 1517 N. Cahuenga Blvd. (just north of Sunset) in Hollywood.

"Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike," the Drama Desk and Tony Award-winning comedy by Christopher Durang that NY Times critic Ben Brantley called "a loving rejection of pretty much everything," will be the fourth and final play of the Hampton Theatre Company's 2015-2016 season, opening on May 26, at the Quogue Community Hall and running through June 12. Promethean Ensemble Theatre will enter its second decade with three plays that view characters and stories of the past through the eyes of modern playwrights. Leading off the season in December will be Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, Moises Kaufman's 1997 biographical play about playwright Oscar Wilde's 1895 trials and ultimate conviction for the crime of homosexuality. Promethean Theatre Ensemble Artistic Director Brian Pastor will direct.

?The Blue Horse Repertory Company present an evening of comedic readings of one-act plays and monologues for women called "Leading Ladies" at the Bridge Street Theatre in Catskill. The show is directed by Flo Hayle and features Elizabeth Breslin, Lora Lee Ecobelli, Sarah Jane Fawcett, Flo Hayle. Gayle Hudson, Nancy Rothman, and Doris Seipel performing works by Christopher Durang, Jane Martin, and Charles George.

Previews begin tonight, May 13 at 8PM for the Playwrights Horizons world premiere production of Indian Summer, a new play by Gregory S. Moss (Reunion; punkplay; Billy Witch; La Brea; Orange, Hat & Grace; House of Gold).

International City Theatre presents a send-up of Chekhov's plays that is so completely hilarious, it doesn't even matter if you think Chekhov is just the name of that Russian guy on Star Trek. Mary Jo DuPrey helms a new production of the deliciously wacky, Tony Award-winning comedy Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike by Christopher Durang for a June 10 opening, with two low-priced previews taking place on June 8 and June 9.

The 2013 Tony Award winner for Best Play, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike comes to Sierra Repertory Theatre's East Sonora Theatre May 20 - June 12. SRT favorite Becky Saunders (Church Basement Ladies, Honky Tonk Angels) directs the show, with SRT company actor Ty Smith as Vanya.

A benefit concert featuring the original Tony-nominated stars of the recent Broadway production of Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA -- Laura Osnes, Santino Fontana and Victoria Clark -- and an evening of new work focusing on the award-winning, rising musical theatre writer Adam Gwon are among the highlights of Bucks County Playhouse's Oscar Hammerstein Festival, today, April 29, through May 1.

Jobsite Theater is making a substitution within the 2015-16 season, replacing Shakespeare's ANTONY & CLEOPATRA with another classic in Jean Genet's unequivocally literate 1947 play THE MAIDS. This production runs the same dates scheduled for A&C, April 29 - May 22, 2016, in the Shimberg Playhouse at the Straz Center where Jobsite is resident theater company.
