NotTheMom Productions is thrilled to present BAD JEWS, written by Joshua Harmon and directed by Sabrina Lloyd. BAD JEWS will open on Thursday, June 30 at 8pm and run through Sunday, July 24 at Theatre of NOTE, 1517 N. Cahuenga Blvd. (just north of Sunset) in Hollywood.

A fierce, biting comedy about family, faith, and what you choose to believe when you're chosen, BAD JEWS follows Daphna Feygenbaum, the self-proclaimed most devout Jew in her family. When her less observant cousin Liam arrives to claim a treasured family heirloom, bringing along a surprisingly non-Jewish element in the form of Melody, a hilarious and devastatingly funny battle of Old Testament proportions ignites. The cousins sharpen their wit, familial vitriol, and humor, making what The New York Times praises as, "the best comedy of the season!" and The New York Post calls, "delicious, nasty, good fun!"

The show features the duo of Sigi Gradwohl (Winner of Best Leading Actress at Theatre Palisades for Anne in The Diary of Anne Frank, Scenie Award Winner for Askance) and Hilary Curwen (MTV's "Happyland"), co-creators of the award-winning "Bad Nannies" and stars of the viral YouTube hit "Girls are Assholes." Often labeled as "the next Broad City," this hilarious team of best friends is currently in pre-production for their pilot "SigNHil" -- a show about...well, their friend obsession. Starring alongside Gradwohl and Curwen are Tyler Alverson (Theatrum Elysium's Joan of Arc and Much Ado About Nothing) and Jordan Wall (A&E's "The Glades").
