HCTO to Stage JANE EYRE

?Charlotte Bronte's classic love story will come to life at Hale Center Theater Orem with our production of JANE EYRE. With music to touch your heart, this musical drama tells the story of a young girl named JANE, who endures a cruel upbringing before she is sent away to attend Lowood School for Girls. After eight years, she leaves school to work as a governess for EDWARD ROCHESTER, which begins her passionate, heart-wrenching journey of love and loss. JANE EYRE is a beautiful piece that touches both the mind and the heart, and you don't want to miss it.

Railroad Earth Performs at Eccles Feb. 20

Fire-in-the-belly passion, gritty guitars, mandolin and songs with Woodie Guthrie-esque themes traverse Railroad Earth's unplugged and plugged-in landscape. Returning to Park City (an encore to their 2013 Deer Valley opening appearance for Bruce Hornsby), the newgrass-bluegrass-rock band performs on The Eccles Center stage, Saturday, February 20.

Palliative Care Physician Dr. BJ Miller to Speak at Eccles, Jan. 9

In Dr. BJ Miller's TED Talk he left his audience with the following challenge: "Let death be what takes us, not lack of imagination." The palliative care physician and an executive with San Francisco's Zen Hospice Project proposes rethinking and redesigning how we die; creating a dignified system that allows life to play out as a "crescendo."

Music Theatre Wichita continues its 44th summer season with Andrew Lippa and John August's Big Fish the musical,  a stage adaptation based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and subsequent Tim Burton film.

Music Theatre Wichita Opens Season with AIDA Tonight

Music Theatre Wichita opens its 44th summer season June 10-14 with the first of its five large-scale productions, Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida at Century II Concert Hall in downtown Wichita, KS. This marks the 28th season for producing artistic director Wayne Bryan.
