Yesterday evening, June 23, Inside Broadway hosted their annual Broadway Beacon Awards. Tony Award-winner Karen Ziemba was the special guest performer for the evening, which honored Tony-winner John Larroquette of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, stage, film, & TV star Brooke Shields, New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, and managing partner & co-founder of Stonehenge Partners, Ofer Yardeni. The Fort Hamilton Library, located at 9424 Fourth Avenue, will reopen to the public on March 28th. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on April 11th with local elected officials to commemorate the newly renovated library.

Jones will make remarks about Dr. King at the program, which will also include City Council Speaker Christine Quinn. The event will take place at Martin Luther King Jr. High School (122 Amsterdam Avenue) at 8:00 AM.
