Theater Wit, Chicago's premiere 'smart art' theater, looks forward to presenting the Chicago premiere of Naperville by acclaimed young playwright Mat Smart. This extraordinary dramatic comedy, all new to Chicago, is set in a Caribou Coffee in - you guessed it - Naperville. TimeLine Theatre Company Sets Cast, Creative Team for BAKERSFIELD MIST

TimeLine Theatre Company opens its 20th anniversary season with the Chicago premiere of BAKERSFIELD MIST. Inspired by a true story and featuring TimeLine Company Member Janet Ulrich Brooks (TimeLine's The Apple Family Plays and 33 Variations; Goodman Theatre's 2666) and TimeLine Associate Artist Mike Nussbaum(TimeLine's THE PRICE and THE APPLE FAMILY PLAYS; Goodman's SMOKEFALL) in the two-person cast, BAKERSFIELD MIST is 'a perfect marriage of emotion and ideas that is rare indeed' (Los Angeles Times).

Teatro Vista Welcomes New Ensemble Members and Artistic Associates

Teatro Vista has announced the addition of two new ensemble members and seven new artistic associates to the company. The new ensemble members include Ramon Camin and Tommy Rivera-Vega. New artistic associates include Jennifer Aparicio, Cruz Gonzalez-Cadel, Carlo Lorenzo Garcia, Isaac Gomez, Ayssette Muñoz, Yunuen Pardo and Jessie Prez.

Rivendell Theatre Ensemble (RTE) Chicago's only Equity theatre devoted to the work of women theatre artists, and Artistic Director Tara Mallen are proud to announce the extension of the Chicago premiere of Courtney Baron's Eat Your Heart Out, directed by Hallie Gordon, through July 12 at Rivendell's performance venue, 5779 N. Ridge Ave. The performance schedule is Today - Fridays at 8 p.m. and Saturdays at 4 and 8 p.m. Please note: there are no performances Friday, July 4 or Saturday, July 5. The running time is approximately 80 minutes with no intermission. Tickets for the extension go on sale Tuesday, June 24 at 10 a.m. Tickets are $30 and may be purchased online at www.RivendellTheatre.org or by phone, 773.334.7728.

Teatro Vista's A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE Opens Tomorrow

Teatro Vista begins their 2014 spring season with Arthur Miller's A View From the Bridge, playing at The Richard Christiansen Theater located within The Victory Gardens Biograph Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Ave., April 15 - May 18. A View From the Bridge is directed by Teatro Vista Artistic Director Ricardo Gutierrez. Preview performances take place April 15 - 19 at 7:30 p.m. Opening/Press night is Tuesday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m. Regular performances take place Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Preview performances are $20, regular run weeknight and matinee performances are $25 and Saturday night performances are $30. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more, students and seniors (65+) with ID.
