Mint Theater Company will return to Theatre Row with the American Premiere of Elizabeth Baker’s Partnership, directed by Jackson Grace Gay.

Producing Artistic Director Kristen van Ginhoven and the WAM Theatre team has announced an exciting ensemble of actors who are performing in the upcoming 2023 Fresh Takes Play Reading Series. The roster features a diverse array of talented performers. For all but one, Fresh Takes 2023 marks their WAM debut. 

Yale Repertory Theatre has announced that Jennifer Kiger, Associate Artistic Director at Yale Rep and Director of New Play Programs, is stepping down from these roles effective June 30, 2023. She will continue to serve on the Playwriting faculty at David Geffen School of Drama.

The series includes three new plays to be performed on three consecutive Sundays in July at The Mount in Lenox. The Fresh Takes Reading Series includes three groundbreaking stories: hollow roots by Christina Anderson, Port of Entry by Talya Kingston, and In Her Bones by Jessica Kahkoska.

On Monday night, The Horton Foote Prize held their first in person ceremony since 2018 honoring Christina Anderson, the 2022 winner. Two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage and director Kate Whoriskey will bring their latest Broadway triumph, “Clyde’s,” a co-production with Goodman Theatre in Chicago to the Mark Taper Forum November 15 to December 18. It recently concluded the Goodman engagement.
