54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents 'The Sound Of Music Nuns' Christmas Party' on December 12, 2014 at 9:30 pm. It's been one year since you saw them on national TV in THE SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE!, but these sisters have reunited and are hosting the season's best and most irreverent Christmas party! Celebrate the season at 54 Below with an evening of holiday spirit, majestic choral singing and hilarious storytelling from some of the finest female voices on Broadway. Featuring Cameron Adams, Wendi Bergamini, Catherine Brunell, Paula Leggett Chase, Margot de La Barre, Rayanne Gonzales, Joy Hermalyn, Leah Horowitz, Autumn Hurlbert, Andrea Jones-Sojola, Jessica Molaskey, Sydney Morton, Elena Shaddow, Laura Shoop, Georgia Stitt and Rema Webb.

BroadwayWorld is excited to bring you 'Songs from My Living Room'- a new series that goes into the home of one of today's most acclaimed contemporary songwriters, as he explains the stories behind his songs. The monthly series will feature special guests from all corners of the entertainment industry to help bring to life the music and lyrics of Scott Alan straight from his living room into yours. The second episode, directed by Robbie Rozelle, features jazz vocalist Jane Monheit singing Alan's 'Always' from his second album, 'Keys'.

Laurie Oestreicher and LLL Magic have announced two developmental lab performances, October 27 and 28, 2014, of the new musical, The Next Big Thing, with book and lyrics by J. Laurence Lowenstein, music by Gerald H. Bailey (Courting), and directed by Jim Ortlieb (Broadway's recent Of Mice and Men and Guys and Dolls). The Next Big Thing is an intimate and incisive musical about one young actor's treacherous road to Hollywood stardom.

New Haven's legendary Shubert Theatre is turning 100 on December 11, 2014 - and to celebrate they are inviting theatre enthusiasts and dozens of other performers to record a video greeting in honor of their centennial milestone!

Elizabeth Southard and Gary Mauer will bring Broadway Bliss to GPAC on Dec. 13.

Midtown Direct Rep (MDR), the company that brought New Jersey the award-winning Rated P for Parenthood and Listen to Your Mother: North Jersey, returns to the South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) with Theatre in the Loft, a series of staged readings of new plays and musicals. Chisa Hutchinson's The Subject, directed by Jade King Carroll, premieres on Sunday, October 12 at 7 pm at SOPAC (One Sopac Way, South Orange, NJ, 07079).
