Virginia's Signature Theatre has announced the full cast for the world premiere production of Kid Victory, a new musical from legendary composer John Kander (Chicago, Cabaret) and acclaimed playwright Greg Pierce (Slowgirl).

With the opening night of the world premiere musical Kid Victory fast approaching at Signature Theatre, the company has unveiled a first behind the scenes look with creators John Kander (Cabaret, Chicago), Greg Pierce (Slowgirl) and Liesl Tommy. Check it out below!

The critically acclaimed New York, Off-Broadway hit musical Inside Out will celebrate its 20-year anniversary at the Grove Theatre Center in Burbank, CA tonight, February 12th - March 22nd, it was announced by Kritzerland Entertainment and PlayWorks Music.

Scott Alan made his concert debut at 54 Below just last week on, January 19th with a slew of Broadway all-star talent, including 2014 Tony winners Jessie Mueller and James Monroe Iglehart, Tony nominees Joshua Henry andChad Kimball, as well as Lilla Crawford, Erin Davie, Mykal Kilgore, Natalie Weiss, Christine Dwyer, Julian Cihi, Danny Calvert, Elizabeth Stanley, Abby Mueller, Christiane Noll, Jessica Phillips, Lisa Brescia, Ashley Brown, Eden Espinosa, Marcus Paul James, Julia Murney, Marissa Rosen, Christina Cataldo and Galyana Castillo joined Alan. The critically acclaimed New York, Off-Broadway hit musical Inside Out will celebrate its 20-year anniversary at the Grove Theatre Center in Burbank, CA February 12th - March 22nd, it was announced today by Kritzerland Entertainment and PlayWorks Music. Veteran TV/Film/Theatre/Actor/ Author/Performer/Playwright and CEO of Kritzerland Records Bruce Kimmel has been set to direct the musical by Doug Haverty (book and lyrics) and Adryan Russ (lyrics and music). An all-star female ensemble/cast of six features Sandy Bainum, Cynthia Ferrer, Stephanie Fredricks, Dana Meller, Leslie Stevens and Adrienne Visnic. Preview performances are February 12th and 13th with the show's official opening scheduled for February 14th.

There was a moment today, during our musical rehearsal, when John Kander stood from his seat behind the writers' table. With his first step, the room fell silent. Each subsequent step brought actors further and further towards the edge of their seats as hands of stage managers' discretely turned their phones to camera mode. When he sat down, behind the old, upright rehearsal piano, the focus in the room was unparalleled. His fingers stroked the keys and a brand new version of the verse in question flowed through the chamber of the piano and into the room. No one breathed. Unsure of whether to clap, nod, or cry, we all sat motionless. Jeff Denman, who was sitting next to me, raised his hands in the air and pronounced "John Kander, everybody," and the silence broke in stunned laughter, headshakes, and stifled amen's. It was at that point, sitting around the piano with some of the most talented artists that I've ever had the privilege of meeting, it hit me how surreal this experience was.
