In addition, the cast includes Monique Abry as Crissy, Kia Nicole Boyer as Jeanie, Jaime Cepero (NBC'S SMASH) as Claude, Ayanna Edwards (DREAMGIRLS) as Dionne, Chris Peluso (London's MISS SAIGON, Broadway's WICKED) as Berger and Christopher Llewyn Ramirez (HOOD: The Robin Hood Musical Adventure) as Woof. The Tribe is made up of Kevin Curtis, Joey Donoian, Kelsey Leigh Ervi, Kyle Igneczi, Valton Jackson, Quintin Jones Jr., Laura Lites, Taylor Nash, Mayte Natalio and Gabrielle Reyes (BELLA: An American Tall Tale, Dreamgirls).
Earlier this evening, Pittsburgh CLO Guild President Anne Liparulo announced the Guild's pledge of $500,000 to Pittsburgh CLO's Next Generation Campaign at the 62ndAnnual Pittsburgh CLO Guild Gala, "An Evening in Paris." This special gift was presented as a surprise to Van Kaplan, accompanied by the 2017 CLOE Award, in honor of his 20th Anniversary as Executive Producer of the organization. Funny Girl, starring Sheridan Smith, officially launched the major UK and Ireland tour last night. Playing opposite Sheridan Smith is Chris Peluso as Nick Arnstein - they will perform in Manchester, Milton Keynes, Liverpool, Bristol, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Newcastle, Southampton, Bradford, Southend, Cardiff and Dublin. The run will extend for a further two weeks, returning to Manchester to complete its run with Smith and Peluso playing the final dates.
