Upright Cabaret producers Chris Isaacson and Shane Sheel will present a trio of shows entitled Upright Cabaret's Wicked Summer Nights: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road at the Ford Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, beginning in June. The shows will star pivotal performers and figures that have created and shaped Wicked, the powerhouse Broadway musical which tells the story of the two witches of Oz long before Dorothy showed up. On Wednesday's results show, Lambert was once again voted through, making him a member of the show's Top 8. On Tuesday, AMERICAN IDOL finalist Adam Lambert once again brought the house down and the audience to its feet with his high-wire performance of Wild Cherry's 'Play That Funky Music', leaving the crowd in awe. Lambert soared with the song, thanks to a special vocal arrangement that highlighted his thrilling octaves.
