Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts has announced casting for its ESPA Drills Reading Series this August. ESPA Drills is an annual new play development program providing staged readings to four playwrights. The plays are workshopped under the guidance of the ESPA staff and will be presented before an audience of industry peers Off-Broadway at The Duke on 42nd Street.
The Garden Theatre has announced its first-ever Bluegrass Concert Series, running from June 14 through August 3 at the Garden Theatre (160 West Plant Street).

Four Last Things will begin performances on Tuesday, April 22 and will celebrate opening night on Sunday, April 27 and will initially run through May 14, 2014. ROCKY hit Broadway last night, officially opening with stars Andy Karl and Margo Seibert at Broadway's historic Winter Garden Theatre. The show features an original score by Stephen Flahertyand Lynn Ahrens and a book by Thomas Meehan and Sylvester Stallone, who was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for the 1976 Oscar-winning Best Picture, Rocky.The production is directed by Alex Timbers, with choreography by Steven Hoggett, and Kelly Devine. Former New York Yankee Willie Randolph attended this Saturday evening's performance of Bronx Bombers. Randolph, who was the second baseman for the New York Yankees from 1976 - 1988, and served as team captain from 1986 - 1988, embraced the cast after the show, exclaiming 'I love this show, these are my guys!'
