The Ensemble Studio Theatre will present a world premiere dark comedy based on a true story, LENIN'S EMBALMERS, by Canadian playwright Vern Thiessen and directed by William Carden. LENIN'S EMBALMERS, part of the Ensemble Studio Theatre/Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Science & Technology Project, plays through March 28 at the Ensemble Studio Theatre, 549 West 52nd Street.

Ars Nova, under the leadership of Artistic Director Jason Eagan, will present the world premiere of the new musical BLOODSONG OF LOVE with book, music & lyrics by multi-award winner Joe Iconis, and directed by John Simpkins. BLOODSONG OF LOVE, which was commissioned and developed by Ars Nova, will begin previews on April 1st prior to an official press opening of April 15th at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues) in Manhattan.

Sara Katz and Sh-K-Boom Records are happy to announce a new venue for THINGS TO RUIN, the critically acclaimed, incendiary collection of songs by Joe Iconis, directed by John Simpkins. For the month of May, T2R will be presented at Second Stage Theatre (307 W 43rd) with performances beginning Monday, May 4, 2009.
