The smash hit, five-time Tony Award nominated musical ROCK OF AGES welcomes 80's pop icon Tiffany as she makes her Broadway debut at the Helen Hayes Theatre, 240 West 44th Street, on Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Tiffany will perform her hit song 'I Think We're Alone Now' on stage after the 7pm performance.

According to published reports,Tom Cruise will give a concert tonight in Miami in character as Stacee Jaxx to be filmed for the ROCK OF AGES film. Crusie will reportedly be singing Bon Jovi's 'Wanted, Dead or Alive' and Journey's 'Don't Stop Believing.' The concert is taking place at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens. A New Line Cinema casting notice for the crowd called for 80s enthusiasts over 16 dressed in their best 80s garb. Cruise's co-stars Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta will also perform alongside Cruise.

On Saturday, July 16, the Broadway cast of ROCK OF AGES, including Rebecca Faulkenberry, Dan Domenech, MiG Ayesa, Mitchell Jarvis, Adam Dannheisser, Cody Scott Lancaster, Michele Mais, Josephine Rose Roberts, Paul Schoeffler, Tessa Alves, Ericka Hunter, Jenifer Foote, Tony LePage, Michael Minarik, Andre Ward, Emily Williams and Jeremy Woodard celebrated 1000 performances of the hit musical on Broadway.

The Hollywood Reporter reveals today that SNL's Will Forte has joined the cast of the Rock of Ages film. The New York comedian and Celebrity Autobiography regular will be playing the part of news anchor Mitch Miley, specifically written for the film.

New Line Cinema's film version of the smash hit Broadway musical 'Rock of Ages' has begun principal photography under the direction of Adam Shankman ('Hairspray'), and not everyone is thrilled about the big screen adaptation. According to Thewrap.com, Broadway producer Carl Levin from Eleven Entertainment claims that the movie owes him more than the $400,000 that was piad to him in producers' fees. Levin filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday, July 6.

Ward will play Stacee Jaxx alongside previously announced Justin Lee Collins. The show begins performances August 31, with an opening date to be announced. The 80's rockers had the audience in the palms of their hands during the national tour of Rock of Ages which closes out the Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) season at the Hobby Center. With several audience members dressed in their best rocker garb, the majority seemed to be reliving glory days of their youth. The audience became so enthralled providing boisterous hoots, fist pumps and a few waived lighters, that it was impossible not to get caught up in the experience of this wildly entertaining show.

ROCK OF AGES will play the West End's Shaftesbury Theatre in August, and Justin Lee Collins is the first to sign on with the project. Collins will play Dennis DuPree in the show, which begins performances August 31, with an opening date to be announced. Aditional casting has not yet been announced.

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) will present ROCK OF AGES at Hobby Center for the Performing Arts from May 31 to June 12, 2011.
