Tony Award-nominated actor Tom Hewitt will play a modern day Medea in the world premiere of Another Medea, a disturbing monodrama written and directed by Aaron Mark. This limited engagement will run 4 performances only at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre beginning March 31st.

Roundabout Theatre Company' new Broadway production of The Big Knife by Clifford Odets, will star Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Bobby Cannavale and directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes. The Big Knife will begin previews on March 22, 2013 and open officially on April 16, 2013 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street). There has been buzz about the Public's starry INTO THE WOODS making the transition from Shakespeare in the Park to Broadway, as HAIR and THE MERCHANT OF VENICE did in recent seasons, but today producer Joey Parnes tells the New York Times that due to scheduling conflicts, the production will not transfer.

The Public Theater's new production The Twenty-Seventh Man closes today, December 16. Written by Nathan Englander and directed by Barry Edelstein, The Twenty-Seventh Man officially opened on Sunday, November 18 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, December 9.
