The Philipstown Depot Theatre has announced the continuation of their popular Cabaret in the Country series with a full season of shows. Throughout 2015, some of NYC's finest cabaret artists from the worlds of Broadway and beyond descend upon Putnam County! Audiences can expect to hear treasured music from composers like Andrew Lloyd Webber, Stephen Sondheim, Rodgers and Hammerstein and songs made popular by the one and only Barbra Streisand. It's a series full of surprises and extraordinary music.

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Broadway favorites Ann Morrison ('Merrily We Roll Along'), Pamela Myers ('Company') & Chip Zien ('Into The Woods') in 'SONDHEIM ORIGINALS - OLD FRIENDS' this weekend, January 16 & 17, 2015. These three original Sondheim cast members share songs and stories, recalling their experiences creating their roles in these landmark musicals on Broadway. The show is conceived and directed by Grammy and Emmy Award winner, John McDaniel, as part of his second season as artistic director of the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's Cabaret and Performance conference.

Stephen Sondheim displays his work of whimsy and intellectual legerdemain on Into The Woods, and Masterworks Broadway has just pulled new photos from the MWB vault featuring Bernadette Peters, Chip Zien, Joanna Gleason and others from the original Broadway cast recording session.
