Playwrights Horizons has announced casting for THE QUALMS, the New York premiere of a new play by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Bruce Norris (Clybourne Park and The Pain and the Itch at PH, Domesticated). Directed by Tony and Obie Award winner Pam MacKinnon (Clybourne Park and Completeness at PH; Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?; this season's A Delicate Balance and the current The Heidi Chronicles), the play is the final production of the theater company's 2014/2015 Season.

TUMACHO, an intimate one-night performance with songs to benefit five-time Obie-winning theatre company Clubbed Thumb, was held earlier this week on December 16 (7:30pm) at 13th Street Theater. 2013 Tony Award winner Pam MacKinnon directed, written by Obie winner Ethan Lipton. SONNET REPERTORY THEATRE celebrates eleven years of classic theatre for a modern planet with a production of Jean Genet's THE MAIDS, directed by Christopher Schilder (resident director, National Tour, Billy Elliot).
