As a centerpiece of the Morrisville Business Association's borough-wide celebration of a 'Revolutionary Weekend,' Aug. 20 - 22, the nonprofit Actors' NET of Bucks County presents an encore production of the award winning musical 1776. With activities ranging from tours of Historic Summerseat, a colonial era home once owned by two signers of the Declaration of Independence (Robert Morris, for whom the borough is named, and George Clymer), to a special Saturday afternoon program Aug. 22 featuring actor/interpreters discussing the Revolutionary War effort, the weekend promises to be its own historic event. Many businesses and restaurants are offering discounts to residents and visitors to the picturesque community located just across the Delaware River from Trenton, NJ.

INTO THE WOODS At Actors' Net Of Buck's County Set To Run 7/9- 7/25

INTO THE WOODS: James Lapine wrote the book and the incomparable Stephen Sondheim the words and music for this fractured fairytale - the story of a childless baker and his wife, who attempt to reverse a curse in order to have a child. Act I ends with all ready to live 'happily ever after.'
