Kritzerland announced its latest release - the original television soundtrack to Stephen Sondheim's Evening Primrose. Originally aired only once on the ABC Stage 67 television series, Evening Primrose was an original musical written especially for television by Mr. Sondheim and James Goldman, from the short story by John Collier.

The UK press is reporting this morning that Andrew Lloyd Webber is partnering up with the BBC for a talent show to search for an unknown to star as Maria in The Sound of Music.

A 40th anniversary 2-disc DVD of The Sound of Music will be released by Twentieth Century Fox in November
