Just last night, A Bronx Tale opened at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48thStreet). The new musical, featuring a book by Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri, music by Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award winner Alan Menken, and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Oscar and Tony Award nominee Glenn Slater, co-directed by two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro and four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Tony nominee Sergio Trujillo, began performances on Thursday, November 3. This month, Broadway's Tony Award-winning, record-breaking musical smash Chicago will welcome back two-time Tony Award nominee Charlotte d'Amboise in a special return engagement as Roxie Hart beginning Monday, June 6. One of the most celebrated members of the worldwide Chicago family, d'Amboise holds the record for having played Roxie Hart more than any other actress in the history of the production -- more than 2,500 performances on Broadway and the road combined to date.

The 2016 Fred and Adele Astaire Awards gala was held just last night, May 16, to honor outstanding dance and choreography on Broadway, off-Broadway, and in film, at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place).
