Black Box Theatre presents a limited San Francisco engagement of local Bay Area theater luminary Trevor Allen's critically acclaimed solo show WORKING FOR THE MOUSE.

With audiences lining up to laugh and commiserate with Pidge Meade in her dynamic one-woman show about the modern circus of weight loss, 40 POUNDS IN 12 WEEKS: A LOVE STORY is a hit, and will now extend through April 30 at the Marsh San Francisco, adding five performances, 5:00pm every Saturday throughout the month of April.

The seventh annual San Francisco Theater Festival, a free one-day extravaganza of 120 shows on 17 stages has been scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm at the Yerba Buena Gardens arts complex.

This year's Critics Circle Awards, sponsored by Actor's Equity Association, today announced is nominees for excellence in San Francisco Bay area theater. Berkeley Rep's production of American Idiot, which played in the fall of 2009, leads with 12 nominations and will open on Broadway this spring.

Developed with and directed by Charlie Varon, THE REAL AMERICANS plays from January 21 - March 6, 2010 on Thursday and Friday at 8:00 pm and Saturday at 5:00 pm (press opening February 6.) All shows are on , 1062 Valencia Street in San Francisco.
