Scripps Ranch Theatre, located on the campus of Alliant International University, presents their 6th Annual Out on a Limb - New Plays from America's Finest City. Scripps Ranch Theatre is a leader in the Southern California Arts Community in developing and producing new plays. The pieces are all new, world-premiere plays written by area playwrights, and have a common theme of having something to do with San Diego. This year, the festival will run for two weekends; July 14-16 & July 21-23, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm.

Independent artists, industry executives and TV fans celebrated closing night of the 10th annual New York Television Festival this evening at the SVA Theatre in Manhattan, with a series of special events. House of Cards showrunner Beau Willimon kicked things off with the third and final creative keynote of the week, followed by a screening and talk-back of FOX comedy series MULANEY and the Festival's annual awards ceremony. The Fulton's artistic director Marc Robin directs and choreographs. 'I have directed this show six times before but I have never had the opportunity to produce it exactly as I wanted, for various reasons. I am so excited because for the first time I have the ability to spread the rain effect over the entire stage, not to mention having the absolute best cast a director could ask for.'
