Jane Fonda heads a cast of eight in 33 VARIATIONS, a new American play written and directed by Mois?s Kaufman, about Katherine Brandt (Jane Fonda) trying to solve a centuries-old mystery about the world's greatest composer. Katherine's obsession takes her from present-day New York to 19th century Austria. The Hartford engagement of JERSEY BOYS, which opened to rave reviews on Friday, February 6, broke the box office record - twice in a row - at the Bushnell Center, where it just completed its triumphant run on February 22, 2009. Oscar & Emmy Award winning screen legend JANE FONDA will return to Broadway in MOISES KAUFMAN's 33 VARIATIONS. Performances begin on Monday, February 9th, 2009 at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre (230 West 49th Street). The official opening will be Monday, March 9th, 2009. The Tony and Grammy Award-winning musical JERSEY BOYS broke the box office record for a touring Broadway show at the Buell Theatre, Denver Performing Arts Complex, for the week ending Sunday, December 21 with a gross of $1,924,310. The previous record was $1,659,826. The smash hit musical opened to rave reviews on Friday night, December 12, where it will play through January 3, 2009. JERSEY BOYS is part of the Denver Center Attractions subscription series at the Buell.
